Gameloft’s gorgeous-looking iPad racing game GT Racing: Motor Academy HD has popped up in the App Store for the bargain price of $0.99/£0.59/€0.79 for a limited time only. The game features 25 manufacturers and over 100 licensed cars to buy, drive and upgrade. You’ll get to test your skills on 14 tracks, including Mazda Raceway and Laguna Seca, as well as urban and rally tracks. Numerous game modes are featured, including a massive Career mode with several driving tests, challenges and rewards, and an Arcade mode, as well as several online competitions. All cockpits have been redesigned for the HD iPad version of the game, which also benefits from the new customisable and resizable interface and replay feature.
As far as user reviews on the App Store go, the game seems to have really polarised opinions, with people either loving it or loathing it, which maybe explains the price drop!
