Know that the iPad email app does not support groups. However, is there a way I can copy and paste a bunch of email address to the "to" line? Does the list need to be separated by commas, or semi colons?

I have about 40 or so email address for a football team, and adding them one at a time is monotonous, as well as time consuming. I am sure there must be a tip or trick that will help me out, but I just don't know what it is...

Any help is most appreciated.

The MailShot app works for me. Let's you build groups from your Contacts, then adds the group names to your contacts, so one-tap enters the group. Also easy to edit groups as they change.

With mail shot, to be able to add my email address's to the app, they apparently need to be in my contact list. The list I want to create is only a temporary list. At the end of October, I will no longer need them.

What I would like to be able to do is to copy and paste from Notepad (that's where my email list is right now.). But if I try to copy and paste into the iPad email app, I get an error saying the email address's are bad. If I copy them one at at time, it works. So I guess I need to figure out how I can copy and paste ALL of them at the same time without getting the error message.

I have MailShot and I can tell you that you can manually input names and addresses:

The second picture show [specifically] shows that you don't have to have people in your Contacts to use the app.

There is no way to add entries manually other than one at a time - but it's a good start? The free version of this app let's you have a total of 3 groups with up to 5 people each. This is just a sample. The Pro (paid) version ($3.99, USD) allows you virtually unlimited groups and people.

Not trying to get you to buy/use it. Just wanted you to know you can manually put in address (and, you can delete the group with one button press in the Contacts app). So, FYI...

I guess I overlooked that part. Thanks so much for the help you have given me. I did purchase mailshot and have it all set up.
