Although the new iPad is not out until tomorrow, Friday March 16, in some countries of the world, such as Australia and Japan, for example, it is already tomorrow! iFixit are well-known for their iPad teardowns, and this time they really have gone the extra mile, heading all the way down to Melbourne, Australia, and buying a new iPad at midnight for the sole purpose of tearing it down to find out what’s inside. The teardown process is underway right now, and MacRumors reports on the findings so far, which include the fact that the display seems to have been made by Samsung, which some rumours have said is the sole supplier for the new iPad’s display. The new iPad has also been found to contain a Broadcom BCM4430 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth chip, and it also supports low-power Bluetooth 4.0. The teardown also revealed that the A5X chip has a manufacturing date code of the first week in January. Now you can feast your eyes on the above picture, which shows the new A5X chip with its cover off![/FONT]
