Facebook clicking Question

I just got my first ever apple ipad(ipad 4) yesterday and was wondering if this is normal, as i use facebook through the browser when i am on my newsfeed i have to click on someones name twice to get to their profile, same goes for links, i need to press links twice in order to get them. when i click on someones name the first time their "hover" info appears as if i hovered above their name with a mouse and only when i click their name again will i be directed to their profile
just wondering it this was normal, thanks!

literally anyone who has used or uses facebook on safari could answer this question lol

I, too, have noticed this behavior if using Facebook through the browser. So, if anecdotes are data, then I'd say it was "normal." It may very well be the way the site is designed.

So, I think there's nothing to worry about. Or, have you tried the official app? I like it better than using the web version (on the iPad).

I prefer to use the browser so i do not have to exit the app to access other sites, thank you for your reply though. As a brand new ipad user i just wanted to know if this was supposed to happen or if somehow the clicker on my ipad was not working properly
