erase search history

hi there,

i have figured out how to erase my history, cookies and cache from safari, but one thing that is really giving me problems is the google search history in the top right of the screen.


when typing in japanese, it always predicts the japanese characters i try to write. i want to clear this predict history, or turn off the predict in the google search field altogether. any helpful hints to get rid of this auto predict (history)?
