Education Applications for kindegarten to 6th grade

I am new to the forum. I just purchased IMACs, mini-macs and 30 IPAD2's to set up a computer class in Malawi, out in a rural villager where the internet is not available. I'm in the process of configuring the computers to create a private network in the classroom. I'm trying to figure a few things out to save having problems once I get the gear to Africa.

I've played a bit with the IPAD2s. I like to find out how to determine if an educational app is stand alone or requires Internet connection. Plus I'm looking for the easiest way to find apps for the different levels mentioned above. Categories will be
1. Math
2. Reading/Writing
3. Geography
4. Science
5. Games

Any help offered or prior research done or even point me to someone who has set up such an environment would be greatly appreciated.

I have given you your own Thread within our IPad at school Forum where you should receive a better response.

I'm not sure which app your speaking about, so I'll assume it's iMessage, to delete you can press the edit tab in the left hand column and delete like that or swipe right to left on any of the messages in this column too. To delete individual messages, do this in the right hand column by pressing the box which has an arrow and select to delete.
