Editing Sports Videos taken on iPad 4

I'm new to the iPad world. I'm using the iPad to video my kid playing volleyball. Now I need to edit all the video to make a highlights video to send to potential colleges. What's the best way to do this ? I used the standard video on the iPad 4. Stoping and starting on every play. It looks great... I just need to know what is the best/easiest etc. editor to make the highlights video. Thanks.

iMovie or Pinnacle are two top choices for editing on the iPad itself. Both are in the App Store.

Alternatively, you can export to your PC or Mac and use editing software there if you have it.
