In case you visit my park....

I'm going back to work tomorrow, and as I get as obsessed about that as I have been about DV, and I typically can only be obsessed about one thing at any given time, I have put my park in what I call Low Maintenance Mode (LMM). I have removed all of the regular dragons and deployed all of my rares that were languishing in the HC. As you know, it takes over a day for the rares to reach capacity so it takes the pressure off sweeping frequently for gold coins. I've also slowed the breeding of Airs and Sandies to whenever I think about it.

I think I have about 23 rares, so that's a guarantee of $23,000,000 a day even if I don't do anything else. It's actually perfect timing for me as, because aside from the ridiculous level 20, I've done pretty much everything else.

I will continue to work on grandson's Jack park from time to time using the no-buy model.

In any event, I probably won't post here as much, but I'll be lurking.

I am VERY upset about this news. I have been trying and using all my gems to speed up breeding time and now BOTH of my breeding caves are stuck with 48 hours. I never thought I would complain about something like that. ARGH!! So now I am FORCED to buy gems so I can TRY (not even guranteed) to get a LYD.

I'm so mad! This is something that might actually make me stop playing this game.

Hello all I am kl005204. just join the forum a few minutes ago. While trying to search for LYD breed combination manage to browse through this site. Finally i got my LYD. three tries on love with panlong. and one try with pan long and love. both level 10. finallly got it...lucky i manage to get before my gems finish.....initially i thought of collecting all those gems for epic breeding ground... but i have wasted 58 gems.... three failures of love and panlong i got one sonic, one poison and one "frostfire" (which i wanted to have this as my collection as well.) manage to get that LYD 2:15pm malaysia time. which means.... 2.15am EST around 52 visitors(not sure if odd or even visitor contribute to this rare attempt) and i did bought the "astrolabe" in the decoration market this is also not sure if this contribute to get the LYD. the riddle says..(The great wizard dalfgan claims that the leap year is a myth, so he invented this magical contraption to capture the extra days. nobody knows if it works or not, but it is said to have "unknown behaviour" if it is break......)

i got the guide from dragonwiki. luckily i have these two dragons love and pan long. for love dragon i still remember on the 13 of feb i got it. after around 5 fail attempt and i did finish my gems alot as well.... gems gems gems...i wish i could have enough..... i wonder how GT500girl got 999 gems. can anyone contribute gems for me? i will contribute to those give me and those that do not i will give at random... please please. i want an epic breeding ground...

Oh no! Don't quit.

I think this is the only time a decoration has a bearing on whether or not you can breed one.

YAY YIPPEEEEEEE!!!!!!! Finally go one on my 15th attempt!!! I used love/cold every time and wasted 53 gems in the last 5 hours. I also got 4x scorch, 3x poison, 4x flower and 3x firefly for my efforts - luckily they were all short breeds!!

The 48hr that I had brewing (if you remember that far back) turned out to be a moon so I'm STILL waiting for a  to come my way! Oh well, I'll keep at it with the same combo as, so far, it's given me ALL my rares!

As for me saving for my gem tree I might have to wait a bit longer as I'm now down to 6 gems!

Was LYD actually released at the same time all over the world? I think so, right? I only hope they take it away at the same time everywhere too. It wouldn't be fair for the players in timezones ahead of Colorado where BFS is, if at the stroke of their midnight it disappeared . That would give them less time than players in Hawaii.

I think I have wasted 500 gems trying to get a 2nd leap year dragon. I have decided not to waste anymore gems and if I get one before they disappear then great. At least I have one.

Hey everyone wish u all the best of luck on the LYD and all the other dragons you may need but BFS just tweeted (Holy moly the Leap Year Dragon is in #DragonVale! This exceptionally rare #dragon will only be available for a short time! Breed one now!!!) I suggest u stop the presses (I always liked when they said it in the movies) and begin your LYD hunt before time runs out. No specific date was set as to when they'll be gone but you all should breed as much as you can just incase. Wish all the best o luck and Breed on!!!!
