What's new

Hi Writer - welcome to the forum! :) 'Easy' is a difficult question to answer, unfortunately - ;) Just curious, how you got the 1000 photos on your iPad 1 in the first place, i.e. are they synced from a computer and present there? If so, then no need to DL the images from the iPad, just use the computer. NOW, there are likely a number of options (e.g. emailing the pics to yourself, but 1K - gads!). For an app that might work for your needs & one that I've used to transfer images from my iPad to my computer, take a look @ PhotoSync, an inexpensive app for the iPad and w/ a accompanying program for your computer - I've used it in the past (not that much) AND just transferred about 30 images from my iPad to my MBPro (stored in a PhotoSync folder on the laptop) - might want to give it a try (just do a dozen or so to see if the transfer works?) - good luck & let us know - Dave

I suggest connecting the iPad to the computer. You should be able to open the iPad's DCIM folder (using Finder). Once you've opened the folder and drilled down to the photos, you can copy them over to your computer.

At least that's how I'd do it...
