Do i need to buy more storage for my ipad2?

Have a 64gb iPad 2. But it already said that I don't have enough storage memory? I am confuse coz I only have few apps in my iPad how come I already need to buy more storage for back up? Pls help me understand. Do I really have to buy more storage?

If you go to Settings>General>Usage it will show you how much storage you have used and how much remains available. You will be shown a complete list of everything currently taking up space in your storage memory.

My storage said I have 5 gb total storage and I only have 31.5 mb available storage. This is really what makes me confuse coz how come it only said 5gb if I have 64 gb memory?

Go to settings - general - about. When you get there hold the lock button and press the home button then release. You will hear a sound. That is a screen shot being taken. Then post it here

"Totallylegit" is right about how to take a screenshot. When you go to "settings/general/about", what are the two numbers that you see at the top of the screen?

Oops. Look at "Settings/General/Usage" an tell me what the numbers are at the top of that page please.

I think that the OP may be confusing iCloud storage with the built in storage on the iPad,especially when she mentions 5GB available storage.
Check out this screenshot.

It's a app called Skitch,it's available as a free app in the app store.
