Deleting messages

When I try to use the Edit function on the In Box it appears to allow me to delete several messages but then freezes, goes to hibernation phase & when I reopen In Box all deleted messages have been restored. I have also tried opening each message & then deleting one by one but after a few opens & deletes, the iPad freezes again, goes into hibernation and restores the deleted messages. I can't clear my In Box.

It may be helpful to delete the account (on the iPad), and set it up again. That should remove any potentially corrupted data, and download new copies of the messages.

I had to do this with the Exchange synch on my Evo Android phone a couple of times to get it to behave.
