Cracked ipad 2 screen

Does anyone know what reasons r covered by AppleCare 4 having a cracked screen? I was told they will no longer change u out free of charge if u accidentally drop it.

Most of our Members have found that, if you return an iPad to an Apple Store with a cracked screen, they'll replace it free of charge as a 'once in a lifetime' offer. Check out the dedicated thread to see Members' experience and advice on how to approach the topic when you get to the Apple Store.
