This morning my email application hung. Was trying to open an attachment the mail just froze. Can still operate all other applications, but nothing will unfreeze my mail. Have synched, turned power on and off. A previous contributor suggested restore, surely they is a less redical solution?

Do a shut down. Press the on/off button and home button simultaneously for three seconds, activate the red slider, wait for the iPad to turn off. Press the buttons again and the iPad will turn back on in about 20/30 seconds. That will do it...
