Charge rate threw USB vs AC adaptor

I prob should do some timed tests, but the AC wall adapter does not seem that much faster than plugged into my homebuilt PC. Regardless of the iPad showing "not charging" it does charge quite well.....

Anyone else have similar results?

Most of the older iPod AC chargers won't allow charging while using. All of them will charge the iPad, but iPad must be off

I am using my USB port on my computer vs the charger they supply with the iPad.
