I was very interested to see this announcement from Anuman Interactive today that they have released Chapters 2 and 3 of the HD iPad version of adventure game, Dracula: The Path of the Dragon. I have to say that Chapter 1 (released on June 25<sup>th</sup>) completely passed me by, for some reason, but what made me sit up and take notice of the announcement today is the fact that the game comes under the Microids brand name, the games studio that Anuman Interactive acquired at the end of 2009, and that is responsible for the excellent Syberia series of PC adventure games. Beautiful looking games with great puzzles and stories, and by the looks of it Dracula: The Path of the Dragon, is more of the same, and well worth investigating on iPad if you like adventure or â€œpoint-and-clickâ€ games, although apparently it is a little on the short side, so be warned of that before you consider buying.

The companyâ€™s press release, dated July 26<sup>th</sup>, actually says that to celebrate the launch of Chapters 2 and 3, both of which cost $5.99, Chapter 1 will be reduced to $0.99 for 72 hours, but from what I can see itâ€™s still on the US store at the usual price of $5.99 , so not quite sure whatâ€™s going on there. <o>

</o> The first-person adventure and investigation game is set in 1920s Transylvania, with the player taking on the role of Father ArnoMoriani, and Iâ€™m guessing that it has something to do with Dracula as well, at some point, just a hunch! The HD version has been reworked to adapt to the iPadâ€™s strengths, with enhanced graphics and a playing experience that is much closer to the PC version.<o>

</o> Apparently Anuman will be bringing a lot more Microids games to the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, with the likes of Return to Mysterious Island definitely on its way to iPad, and Syberia III currently in development , which can only be great news for adventure game fans.
