Does iOS 15 support manual selection of 2g network type when available ? Or is network type automatic only ? Do you have screen shots to confirm?

I attach a screen shot but is this iOS 15?

I'm not sure what that screen shot is from, but it does not look like any version of Settings I remember. Certainly nothing as recent as iOS15.

I don't have iOS 15, but iOS 17 only lets turn off 5G, leaving you with LTE.

Wow, it really does fall apart when you look close.

I just glanced at the thumbnail, and noticed it was nothing like the Settings app, more like some weird dialog screen. Those are pretty the only thing that show up on top of the home screen.
