Can't connect to HP Officejet Pro 8100

Just purchased this printer for iPad 2. Won't connect. Apple website says it is Airprint capable with upgrade using front panel of printer. No such thing on front panel. hP Support person was as useless as the manual! Any ideas?

Scroll through to find your operating system then follow the instructions.
It took me a while to install my 3050a. I ended up having to assign static ip addresses for the printer and iPad.
