Cannot schedule Tune-In Radio recordings after iPad2 update

Hi everybody, My wife uses her iPad2 to schedule recordings on her hometown radio, but since a recent software update (last 2-3 days), the scheduling feature has stopped working. It WAS fine with the cover closed, but now it won't begin recording at the scheduled time either way (top closed or open) - does anyone have any sugestions? BTW, great site!
Update: The radio comes on at the correct time, but it will not record.
