Cannot pair bluetooth in blackberry phone with iPad

I am wanting to pair my blackberry phone through bluetooth. But cannot why?

Why do you need to pair them? They are not designed to be paired.

Bluetooth on an iDevice is limited to headsets, keyboards, Bluetooth network gaming, etc. Apple do not allow general file transfer via Bluetooth.
