Camera question...

I was curious if other iPad 2 owners experience poor quality in their photos. Every time I take a picture they come out very gritty. Videos are the same way too. Is this normal with the iPad 2 camera? Is their something I can do to improve quality?

Yes it is normal, you should be in brighter conditions.

Light's always the problem with grainy videos/pictures. That's why professionals bring huge light stands when taking video/pictures.

I have iPad 2 and the photos/videos are reasonable, not dark or gritty.

I prefer the iPad for indoor sport videos over my normal (not new) camera.
Outdoors the iPad is not much for field sports even though there is plenty of light.

My iphone and especially my daughter's droid takes better pix.

I find the ipad 2 camera not too bad in really good light but we knew the camera was not going to be very good. The video I have found to be quite good.

What you use depends upon what your priorities are.

IPad does not pretend to be all things to all men.
I admit I like them, but I am not a rusted on fanatic!
