Camera problem

Thanks to Tim and giradman for replies, been unable to find answer to problem on forum so I'll throw it out there.while taking a few photos the shutter has stayed shut, the camera icon is on video and is flickering, all other functions are working fine .I have tried closing iPad down and restarting it but no luck. Ideas anyone ?

Hmm - can't remember now what I suggested.....

Have you closed the app completely in the multi-task bar?

Or a reset?

Reset: Hold down the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears. The iPad will reboot. This usually takes a bit longer than a restart.
