Calendars in iPhone, ipad2 and windows computer.

Hi everyone,
I am new to the iPhone, iPad and synching calendars. I back up with iCloud and so far it has worked between iPhone and iPad with my different calendars. Just now I have wanted to create events which repeat every 4 or 5 weeks, which is not possible using iPhone or iPad (at least not for me), so I went to iCloud on my computer and made the changes there. My question is: when will iCloud update my iPhone and iPad? Do I have to tell it to? At the moment it synchs iPhone to iCloud, will automatically synch backwards iCloud to iPhone/iPad?

Any help/guidance would be very welcome.

It should do it pretty instantly providing your iphone and ipad have a internet connection. You don't have to tell it to do anything.
