Will you be buying one? I am still on the fence...I have cut back by about 80% of my iPhone use since I got my iPad. But it is cool, A gadget I don't need, but kinda gotta have! lol.

iOS 4 is what I really want on the iPad!!!

If they announce it will be on verizon I will gladly pay unsubsidized price on day one....if it stays on AT&T I guess I'll never own an iPhone.

In Australia I can purchase the iPhone 4 unlocked I will be purchasing one once they are available it really compliments my iPad wifi by offering the same interface even though a smaller size.
I will pass on my current 3GS to my lovely partner.

I wanted white too, but will settle for black. However I'm having no luck ordering ANY!! Keeps timing out or telling me there was a problem and to reserve at the nearest store. Nearest store is 150 miles from me and not what I want to do! Hopefully I'll be able to get through soon.

Where did you see that? I went to the US Apple store and only saw AT&T contract options.

He lives in Europe, so they're probably luckier over there. Besides, you can always buy them on eBay unlocked or from AT&T usually without a contract. At least here in the States.
