Hi everyone,
My husband gave me a new 16GB 3G iPad for Christmas. I also have an intel iMac, a MacBook and an iPhone 3G so was trying to justify an iPad when he made the decision for me. So far I'm loving the iPad, using the WiFi mainly, but I tethered it to the iPhone successfully today. This has saved getting a 3G plan (got to save money somewhere).
We are retired and travel a lot in our caravan and sometimes overseas so the iPad should be a light travelling companion. I just used FaceTime to speak to my daughter's iPhone 4 much to my little granddaughter's delight. I've also downloaded my first book which is for Book Club this month and should help with the overflowing book shelves in my house. I just keep finding more and more things to do with my new iPad.
