Backspace

The iPad delete key does backspacing. On every other keyboard there is a 'delete' key which does a forward delete.
How in the world does one do a forward delete with this rudimentary keyboard?
Any help or suggestion will be appreciated.

Unfortunately, there is no way to forward delete.

You can, however, place the cursor where you wish so that the delete (backspace) key works. Press and hold the screen until a little magnifying appears and you can then move your finger (keeping it on the screen), which will move the cursor where you want it to be.

I know, I know. Not the best. But, it's the way Apple has designed the keyboard (and please, don't get me started about not having arrow keys on the iPad! ).
