After opening App Store on iPad , it displays a message saying that "cannot connect to iTunes Store"

1. Set another date: go to Settings - General - Date and Time, set a date in the future. I know it sounds weird, but it helps sometimes.
2. Make sure you can access the Internet with your device.
3. Reset your iPad.
4. Log out in App Store, then in again.
