app deleting

I have some apps that i cannot delete,in the usual way,an x does not appear when you press,is there any other way i can get rid of the,thank you.

AFIK, you can not get rid of the pre-installed apps, only the ones you have purchased.

If there apps you have installed you can delete them via itunes

The only thing you can do for apps like Contacts, iTunes, etc is to jailbreak your iPad download Categories, and hide the icons. You could probably delete them as well if you are jailbroken but I have a feeling even if you could, you would really screw other parts up because they are probably connected to other actions. Like Safari might give an error processing maps without the app installed, for example.

Hmm I too hate the iTunes app.
I haven't tried it but could you move it to an unused page. Preferable page 11....
