From reading various posts, it turns out that PrintCentral is one of the more commonly used apps for printing.

But are there cheaper alternatives that simply use the in-app print feature to print on an airport express connected printer and maybe lack some extra features? What I am wondering is, whether the cheaper apps from Eurosmartz do the same job, for example Print is supposed to print to all printers, however, it does not specify whether it uses the AirPrint function of apps

Print Central is a stand-alone program and has nothing to do with Airprint as far as I know, I wish Airprint would do a better job then I would not have bought Print Central.
