Advice for a Mac Noob - Make VNC Connections Easier?

I have iTeleport Connect running on both my Mac and PC. I have no trouble connecting at all.

However, in my Mac, when I look at the network, I see my PC under "shared" and I can click "share screen" but it only gives me a white screen.

What I have to do is run the Screen Sharing app on my mac and manually type in the IP address and port every time! Can't I make this easier somehow?

So your trying to use the Mac app to view windows? Always worked flawless Mac to Mac.... I never could do Mac to windows....

Yeah, it works, but as far as I can tell, there are two ways to connect. The only one that works for me is if I manually input the ipaddressort.
