Hi All, I am new to any form of forums and need some help please. I use Windows as my office operating system and unfortunately had my hard drive crash with all my itunes backups for my ipad2. I wasnt to worried as I had all my photos on my ipad in albums. Last week I was trying to make a backup of these photos from ipad onto an external hard drive, but when I hooked up my ipad to my PC it synced with 2 new albums in my pictures on my pc and removed all the albums I had on my ipad. I would be very grateful if someone could tell me how to recover these albums as I am now worried that I have lost it from my PC when the hard drive crashed and the latest sync.

It doesn't sound likely to be honest the iTunes sync deletes the info on the iPad and then resyncs the items you selected to go onto the iPad. My suggestion would be investigate the hard drive if you can get it out and into a hdd caddy and then plug that into another pc, authorise it to be viewed, and attempt to recover the photos that way but it depends how knackered your hard drive is.

There may be other ways I'm not aware of so I'm sure if anyone else has a suggestion they will post it. Good luck
