That makes no sense...as of mid 2011 no one will be using CDMA anymore...verizon is the last remaining carrier and they will be 100% lte before long.

It may take a bit longer for 4G to take over. There are a lot of CDMA devices. I would love a 4G iPad but we may not see that until 2012.

I understand that LTE and CDMA will exist together as long these idiot carriers insist on forcing you to have a phone for 2 years.....but I don't think they will be making or selling any outdated new phones or devices will they?

I agree and at least once CDMA is here all of my accounts will be on Verizon.
