I think I found a bug in my iPad Pro

Ah, yes, that does work. I'm also on iPad Pro with iOS 9.3.1. Leave it to Apple to think of about everything.

I think I found a bug in my iPad Pro

I remember, on my iPad Air 2, you could swipe left to right (edge of screen to edge of screen) to go back in a tab's history in Safari, and swipe right to left to go forward. But, now with Slideover, going forward with the right to left swipe is no longer possible. Should I report this at...

    Where is everything?

Oh, I'll say it.. it's a very good thing. I will gladly change the way I do things if it means added security. I love iOS and my entire home is now iOS and OS X - other operating systems aren't even allowed here :)

    Where is everything?

You might want to investigate purchasing an NAS device as a secondary backup. And, there exist third-party devices for iPhone/iPad that can aid in the transfer of files to and from SD cards and USB sticks.

    Where is everything?

I understand, believe me, and I'm trying to come up with ideas to help resolve this for you. I was in the same situation when I moved to iOS. I have a shoebox full is USB sticks and, if I were there, I'd give you one to keep. I know it's frustrating, but there is a solution.. we just need to...

    Where is everything?

Yes. I think you're still trying to implement desktop methods/ideas in iOS - this is the source of your frustration. Working on a PC requires a certain set of skills. Working on iOS and OS X requires two sets of skills - one for each platform. You can complain for eternity but that won't change...

    Skitch replacement: Annotable

Annotable includes a text pixelation feature that I've been wanting but haven't found in any apps. That feature alone pays for itself for my needs.

    Skitch replacement: Annotable

Thank you for this. I too have been looking for a replacement for Skitch and this looks like it will work fine. And, yes, the price is well worth it as I plan to use the app quite a bit.

iPad Pro Ahead in Detachable Tablet Market

I love that I can attach the keyboard and draft letters or poetry and still be able to detach the keyboard and take the iPP out and about with me.

What swayed you to get the iPad Pro?

I never updated my iPad Air 2, for some reason it never crossed my mind. I sold it to help finance the iPad Pro.

Will the iPad Pro replace your Laptop or your smaller iPad?

I had planned to get the iPad Pro this month and start saving money for either an iMac or a MacBook. However, after using the 9.7 inch iPad Pro all day today, I don't see the need for a desktop or laptop machine for my needs. I also bought the Smart Keyboard for my iPP and this combination seems...

What swayed you to get the iPad Pro?

For me, the deciding factor was the features in the iPad Pro versus those in my iPad Air 2. My iPad Air 2 works fine, but the slide-over features of the iPad Pro were what made me look into this device.

    Need advice for keyboard idea

I quite like the Smart Keyboard, though I'll have to get used to the smaller typing area. Tip: hold down the Command key in different apps, it shows app-specific shortcuts! Even the home screen has shortcuts.

The official "I got my iPad Pro" thread

I bought the 9.7 inch iPad Pro at Verizon yesterday. I bought a Smart Keyboard today and am loving the combination!

    Need advice for keyboard idea

Well, I went into Best Buy to look for a keyboard. And, this was the last smart keyboard they had: Score!

    Just bit the bullet

I upgraded to the 9.7 inch iPad Pro from the iPad Air 2 and it was indeed the ultimate upgrade. As far as my artwork, visit my artwork gallery over at the iPhone Forums, those were all made by me on an old desktop machine using GIMP. My best creation yet is this one, it's a lock screen...

    Need advice for keyboard idea

I bought a 9.7 inch iPad Pro yesterday. After doing some research I have found that the Smart Keyboard drains the iPad Pro battery a bit due to the keyboard transferring data and power through the iPad's smart connector. The Apple Magic Keyboard (Bluetooth data transfer) is much cheaper, but I'm...

    Just bit the bullet

My plan was to buy the iPad Pro and save up money for a Mac mini or an iMac. But, after using the iPad Pro at home for a bit, I'm not sure I even need a Mac now - this iPP seems to suffice as a tablet and desktop machine for my needs.

Just watched some Apple Pencil videos on YouTube. Maybe I do need one of those after all :)

I got it mainly for artwork and iTunes videos. But, this screen is gorgeous so I'm open to ideas.

    Just bit the bullet

I'm sitting here typing this post on my brand new iPad Pro (9.7, 128GB, space grey). I'm already loving the big screen! I bought this from Verizon today after spending a week playing with it at Best Buy. I'm not interested in the Apple Pencil but will be buying the Smart Keyboard Cover next month.

    Where is everything?

Can you transfer them from iMovie to another storage facility such as Dropbox and then download them to a desktop machine? Or perhaps email them to yourself and open the email on a desktop machine? I've never use iMovie and am just thinking out loud here.

Do you have the requisite permission to publish the files to a website? This may be something worth considering.

    Hello from pc land

If you're talking about iOS devices (iPad/iPhone/iPod), you need to understand that iOS is an app-based operating system, as opposed to file-based operating systems like a PC. In order to download or use a file on iOS you first need to have an app installed that can read or use that file...

    iPad to iPad mirroring

I'm wondering if there is a way to have a secondary display, say perhaps a monitor or a TV. I know such a thing is possible because Apple uses this type of thing during WWDC to show the audience what the speaker is doing on the iPhone/iPad. Info on AirPlay mirroring can be found here: How to use...
