    Did the iPad disapoint you?

HTML 5 will take care of the video issue regarding flash in the future, and youtube will be using h.264 (I think is what it is) so it should be fine (although Google is a company built on open source, their neglect for using ogg vorbis may hinder them, and pave a new path for a video site to...

    The haters....my 2¢

I never accused anyone of hate-mongering, I simply stated that I wasn't doing it. I think I was doing my best to address a problem before it got too big. Not really my place, but I've been using forums a very long time, as I am sure others here have. Caution should always be taken as these...

    The haters....my 2¢

Gentlemen and gentleladies, I feel we should re-evaluate what we have come to this forum for. This is not a place to argue, but to discuss. This device is lacking many features, indeed, but it is because of this site the product will eventually become more usable. Any business out of the...

How soon will you purchase the iPad?

I'm too poor to just get one. lol I would like to see where hackers take this device though, it seems very likely this would be ideal. I still want at least 250 GB on mine and a full desktop or netbook remix distro.

    MultiTasking

Perhaps we should be more focused on finding ways to switch applications without having to hit the "home" button all the time? That makes the most sense.

    Linux?

Google is a company I watch closely. If they aren't careful they may be labeled the next Microsoft. I feel, however, that any open source alternative would be an incredible feature to see working its way to tablets. Lenovo's U1 Hybrid is the perfect example. When docked to the keyboard it...

    The haters....my 2¢

Do not be mislead by the misuse of your webcams. It would be far more efficient if webcam chatting was more centralized and less fractured for sure, but also, cam chat on-the-go is far more logical than camming in your boxers on your computer. It isn't that video chatting never caught on...

    The haters....my 2¢

Fair enough. However, let's remember that old bloated technologies are still in use all over the place (Windows...IE...etc.) yet are still a major focus of the internet market. Thanks to IE6, the internet has been kind of standing still in terms of page compatibility because of this ancient...

Nope, it sure isn't a MacBook. How hard is flash to do? I mean, who in their right mind would say "here's a computer to surf the net, but it can't do flash." Which, btw, is what most of the awesome part of the web is. That and content. Too many people in the world to keep anything a...

    Linux?

Indeed, but alas I am very much a "nettop" user. This means that if I have something to type, I do so in OO.o or something. I use my netbook right now with Ubuntu 9.10 NBR and it's perfect on there. No problems at all (except the wireless card crapping out on me here and there, hardware...

    Linux?

The answer is yes: it is possible to install Linux on this this. The only issue is having a driver for the A4 processor and whatever else they put in there. Of course, there are better alternatives that are already Linux compatible. I just figured someone may be thinking about this topic as...
