After the failure of my iPad 2 am thinking of getting an iPad 3. If I connect the new iPad to iTunes will it load all my apps, settings etc onto the new iPad. It is an iPad 2 64 wifi/3g and is nearly full, a lot of the apps are purchased ones.

With iOS 4 we had "iPod" to play mus¡c, with iOS 5 we have "music". I prefer iPod. Is iPod downloadable as an iOS 5 app? If so I have been unable to find it.

iPad 2 - iOS 5. I want to delete some albums from Photos. The manual says select edit and a stop sign will appear next to the albums, it doesn't! Only thing that happens when I pressed edit, is a "New Album" icon appears. I can rearrange albums, but that is all.

UPDATE - It´s fixed. I did a reset using iTunes, i was fairly quick and did not solve the problem. I did another reset using the iPad, took ages and fixed the problem.

UPDATE - Done now restoring from iTunes. Finger crossed.

UPDATE. I am going to try a "erase all contents and setting", looks drastic.

I did a hard reset, no change, cannot find anything in settings.

Update. I am getting sound effects, like when I change a sound in settings-general-sound, but sounds in programs tracks in music (still dimmed), not sounds from "piano" programs.

I have lost the sound on my iPad2 iOS 5. No noise from the speaker in any programs. Volume control goes up and down. In "music" the display is dimmed, volume control slider goes up and down. No tunes will play. I did a restore, no difference. Everything else seems to be ok. Help please it's new...

Yes. I connect HDMI and sound cables to amplifier and TV. HDMI cable is long so can control it from my armchair, great for viewing pics. Also use Sony bluetooth headphones.
