Im thinking about upgrading my jailbroken 5.1.1 iPad 3 to iOS 6. Was it worth losing your jailbreak, or should I wait till a jailbreak is available? What advantages did you gain, if any, when you upgraded? Sorry if this has been asked, I looked, but didn't see an answer.

I did too. Went from the IP1 to the iPad 3. Wow. I've had this about three months now and can't put it down.

The only way I know is to jailbreak it and use an app called BytaFont. There the selection is endless.

No I haven't. I read about the bug fixes but was hoping against hope for better battery life. I'm going to skip this one and keep my fingers crossed for the next one.

My vote- spend the extra money and get the iPad 3.

Has anyone experienced any significant increase in battery life from upgrading from 5.1 to 5.1.1 on a iPad 3?

Had the i4 and the ipad1. Now own a new (as of last week) 3rd generation, and I preordered the 4S back in the fall. Both magnificent devices.

Got mine Thursday. Coming from the IP1, it's a pretty significant upgrade. Nice device!

I was afraid of that. So it wouldn't be beneficial to buy a third party charger. Well, I guess I can live with that, overall a superb device.

Does anyone know what the amps of the charger is that comes with the IP3? I had an IP1 with a Griffin charger and it seemed to charge faster than my 3. Griffin makes a 10 watt charger, would I be better off with it or stick to the issued charger?

My ipad3 definitely dischargers faster than my iPad 1 did.

Im not putting one on my IP3. I didn't have one on my IP1, and it was scratch free when I sold it. I'm extremely careful with my devices though.

Mine had 95% when it arrived from China yesterday. I can honestly say though, the battery life on is is not as good as my ipad1. But I do realize its got a larger processor, better screen, etc.

I found it. I was looking for an AirPrint icon and it is an app/capability within the media share choices such as tweet, send to printer, etc. Both my devices are air print friendly.

This is great, I called Best Buy about an hour ago for the same printer. I'm assuming it will work with an ipad1 running 5.0.1? And my i4S running the same? Also what print app did you install on your iPad to communicate with the printer?
