Thank you for taking the trouble to let me have this info. I want to keep the facility of having photos I take on my iPhone going onto my iPad and Mac so am happy with the photo library I know how it works. iCloud drive I don't really want, so for now have turned it off.

Thanks for all of the above. I find photos on IOS a mystery. I take most on my iPhone, they appear on my iPad and MacBook and iCloud. I only found yesterday 1000's literally of photos on iCloud and there was no quick way to delete them. I've now turned off iCloud drive as my photos back up...

I'm wondering if I want to use iCloud drive - I use dropbox for photos - I wonder what most people do. It also adds unusable space on my macbook pro.

I have the correct software and apps. Is there anywhere I can get a simple explanation as to how iCloud drive works and iCloud photo storage? I am confused by it all, despite being a mac user for the past 4 years!

i put photos and docs in my iCloud Drive folder on my MacBook Pro, but they don't show up in the iCloud app on my iPad. Any advice please?

Hi and thanks for replying. I didn't created this folder and I can't see it when I log in on the web to iCloud.com in my Notes. Only can see what is created on the iPhone.

On my iPad Air 2 and iPhone SE notes appear in folders. Under the folder iCloud I have the notes made on my iPhone and under the folder LH I can see the note made on my iPad. I would like to have them all in the same folder, is this possible, and if so, how? Thanks

Thanks, I've checked and the region is correct. Do you think if I delete Safari, the game would open up in the FB app ?

Tried to do both, logging in through the app and through safari.

On my husbands iPad 2 he was happily playing Shuffle Cats, logging in through Facebook. Then suddenly he was unable to play as he keeps getting this error. I have updated his iPad to the latest version OS and reset network settings. I have deleted both the game and facebookmand reinstalled...

I did all of that. When connecting to iTunes it still said the same. So I closed iTunes, and reopened it while holding the shift key, and used the option to choose a previous library - and there were all my apps, music etc. I just don't want the problem again next time I want to sync music...

Actually just unticking the extra calendar on the iPhone was all that I needed to do. So my past events are still on the phone should I need them.

Yes I agree, so I have had to delete the additional iPhone calendar, losing past events, but not important as have all in paper diary. Now both sync fine. Thanks for your help.

On the iPhone another option for Calendar is visible but isn't on the iPad. I guess this is where the problem is. But why is there not the additional calendar on the iPad? I haven't added one from the App Store. It's the default apple calendar on both.

Google drive app does not show my uploaded files on my iPad, nor iPhone. Yet they are there as I uploaded them from the pc and can see them when on the pc. Anyone else have this problem and if so, did you solve it, and how? thanks
