I took the clear coat off of my iPad and no longer have the oil slick stuff going on. I figured with the built in screen protector in the case, I don't need it anyway.

Do you have a music library on your iTunes account? If so, create a playlist of the songs you want then when you plug up your iPad, go into the music tab and check "sync Music" then check off the playlist you ant to sync to your device.

I second this...the Defender is exactly what you're looking for. It's great-I have it on my ipad3 right now.
