I've never used an Air, but I really don't think the MacBook Pro is anything special. Before I upgraded to it, I had a regular MacBook (the discontinued white one). Compared to that, it's amazing, but I don't really think a Pro would better than an Air since the lightness would be a lot nicer...

Is your autofill for names and passwords turned on? I would try clearing the saved passwords and all website data, then try again. If that doesn't work you could always download an alternative browser from the App Store.

I got mine as a gift, but I wanted it because you can't "curl up" on the couch with your MacBook and the iPod isn't the most ideal device for web browsing.

I don't use it often, but it's nice when you're too lazy to use more than one finger or if you're in a drawing/note taking app that will create random lines if you use the multitouch gestures.

In the bottom right corner of the keyboard there's a key that looks like a keyboard and has 4 lines on the right side, press down on it until a menu pops up, select Dock and Merge.

If you synced your iPad and want to completely get rid of the app, go to the Apps tab on iTunes, right click the app, click delete and keep the file or move it to the trash.
