    Any case similar to Otterbox Denfender

    Only the relatively substantial weight - the defender case for original iPad is very well designed and secure, non- slip.... The fact that the cover over the recharge port detaches does risk loss for that piece, but otherwise, a super case.

    I've had the beautiful dodocase,, as well as the otterbox defender, on my personal & classroom iPads. I prefer the dodocase for weight and function, but thought I'd lean towards the tough otter box defender for iPad 2 protection & make it easier to swivel & rotate for use of camera w/o book...
