    WWDC 2020

    Here’s the new kaleidoscope Watch face that’s available in watchOS 4. You can select from a number of provided photos or use one of your own. I used one of the vaulted nave of Southwark Cathedral. The image slowly changes over time or you can turn the Digital Crown to see the kalidescope effect.

    Here are some photos of my iMac G3 Snow from 2000. It's running OS X 10.4.8 Tiger. It has a 500 MHz PowerPC G3 processor, 640MB of SDRAM and a whopping 20GB hard drive.

    iOS 9.3 embedded links problem

    It appears as if the problem with clicking on embedded links us related to the booking.com app. If you have it on your device and use it, even once, the problem starts. Apple is working on a fix for iOS bug that causes tapping links to crash iPhones

    iOS 9 announced

    Apple has just announced iOS 9 at the WWDC Keynote and it will support all devices capable of running iOS 8, including the iPad 2. This means that on the public release of iOS 9 in September, the iPad 2 will have been through 6 major iOS versions, from iOS 4 to iOS 9.

    During the last few days we've been seeing a flurry of updates as app developers rush to make their apps fully iOS 8 compatable. Just a few more hours to go until the public release tomorrow. Apple servers are going to get hammered yet again.
