Apple Ipad Air is a joke

Uh ... I can't remember where I found the animated smilies (smileys?). However, I stuck a bunch on my website so you can just use/download them. Alas, this forum don't hardly let me give the URL, but maybe they'll accept this URL image: EDITED

This guy looks amazing!! http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00AQUMZRA/ref=ox_ya_os_product_refresh_T1 I stick in an SD card filled with great stuff and it becomes a WiFi hotspot. With a 3000 mAh battery? Gotta be kidding, eh? Can hardly wait to play.

Apple Ipad Air is a joke

What's a mite irritating (with Safari) is the appearance of the bookmarks when you rotate a web page to landscape. Puffin don't do that. Another irritating thing (with Safari) is its inability to play Flash videos. Puffin plays 'em nice. I got me iOS 8.0.2. P.S. We're taking a long plane...

    Opinions on ISO .8.02

I installed 8.0.2 yesterday. I've been playing with all the new features that I could identify (so far). I've added them to my writeup on iOS7 ... the URL of which can be found in my profile: http://www.ipadforums.net/members/pjponzo.313108/ Delightful (so far).

    resizing email photos ?!#@&

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried copy&paste (to an email) and using the photo app ... no luck. Now I find that size matters!! For smallish photos I get no Images button. BUT, for larger photos ... guess what?? Now I'm a happy fella.

    resizing email photos ?!#@&

My wife has an iPad Air (iOS7). I got me an iPad mini with the Retina-thing (iOS7). When she sends a photo via email, she has an opportunity to resize it. (There's an Images button.) When I send a photo via email I do NOT get that Images button. Hey Apple!! That ain't fair! Can anybody explain this?

    iPad Air TIPS

You're right. I took (mostly) screenshots on the iPad in portrait. Then I emailed them to my Windows desktop (where I have more "tools" to make web pages). Then I'd massage, resize, etc. the images and add them to my HTML web page along with text. Then (for this thread) I took screenshots of the...

    iPad Air TIPS

50-50 Why do you ask? The images are from a desktop PC, not an Apple product. They are from one of hundreds of explanatory tutorials on my web site. I was told that I could not provide a URL...hence the images.

    iPad Air TIPS

Having bought an iPad Air, I've spent the past month scouring the net looking for "Tips". The ordering may seem weird, but it's just the order I found them ... not the order of importance This is what I have so far ... any further suggestions would be appreciated:

    Ipad Air Gets Too Warm

I've noticed that if I have my iPad in a case or on a "fluffy" surface, it doesn't have an opportunity to cool properly ... and gets warm. The iPad Air battery is HUGE, the size of the iPad itself so I try to give it some Air.

    iBooks

If you want to read .mobi ebooks that you have on your PC (using the Kindle app on your iPad), then you can mail the book directly to your iPad Kindle app and it'll appear among all your other Kindle ebooks You'll have to look around the Kindle app to find the email address. It'll be...
