  • Hi!
I can't send you a pm, i got a message that you need to delete pm's because you already have 150. So I leave my message here.

I hope there's time - in spite of the storm and it's results - to celebrate your birthday with your family and friends. Have a great day!

How do you keep 2 dogs and 5 cats in the same house?!
You like reading too?! I'm an author-to-be once I finish my book.

    Just testing,

I'm trying to send this message to each of my friends. Can I send it to everyone as a group?

OK, have you looked at the Family History thread? I posted, with test images, about an app which converts the iPad into a portable scanner. Each of you should find this of interest.

i cannot find the facility to send the post to friends simultaneously. There isn't an obvious cc or group cc link! :(
Greetings Hayles--thank you for the friend request-so nice of you to think of sending it!! Still trying to understand the forum go aroumds!! Happy Thanksgiving to you...this is the official kick off of Xmas!! Is it cold in the UK right now?
The trouble is that 99.99% of those are welcoming new Members...:(

    Hi Hayley,
I'm trying out different features in the forum. So I hope you don't mind my using you as a contact in trying out the member to member messaging. I guess this will be a private message.
Back in the 60s I went to Bournemouth College and got to know the region well. I think I visited Wincanton. I loved Dorset, Devon and Somerset. Got to know the Isle of Purbeck very well. Encombe House was a favourite place; a college pal's parents worked there. As cook & butler.
    Regards
    Richard Brown
PS. I will be posting more building pictures onto the Architecture thread. I have some pics of Victorian Dairies in N London which should be enjoyable.
    Must dash
