I just purchased the Philips Fidelio D855 Speaker System for iPod/iPhone/iPad and
I think it is an excellent speaker system. It is also bluetooth. It has a 5 hour rechargeable battery among other things. It usually sells for over $ 200.00 but I got mine for about $ 135.00. It is rather...
Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + 3G
While I agree with everything that was said, my approach to buying has always been to look at the limits of a device (never out-limit yourself). I always take in mind that you can not add hardware to the device so once you buy it you are stuck with it. While you don't have...
The bottom line is that you can share apps as long as you know the other persons Username and Password (you will eventually need this for updates). However, if the app is free you should just get your own apps.
Don't forget that you can also back up purchased music on CDs (in iTunes) as well as DVD. Back them up on CDs or DVDs because even external hard drives fail. Un less you lose the CDs or DVDs they will last you practically forever.
I wouldn't buy anything off the internet for that kind of money. If you can't see it you don't need it. Like the other suggestion get a Apple refurbised iPad. $500.00 is too much to risk on a picture that anyone can publish - especially on Craigs List. Good luck!!

You wouldn't want the connection between the dock and the iPad to be 'too' loose. The results could be broken connection and cracked dock. You know that any cable for IOS devices are basically snapped in. This ensures that you have a good connection between the cable and the device.
Welcome, I have been using Apple products since the IIGS back in the 80's. You will be thrilled and it may be corny but once you go 'Mac' you won't go 'Back'!!
There is a IOS 4.2 Beta available for the iPad but it is for developers only. If you are not a developer and paid the $99.00 even if you were able to download the software you would not be able to use it. After you install the software iTunes checks for the UID of your iPad on the Apple Server...
Bluetooth can be used to stream to bluetooth speakers and if your car supports bluetooth you can stream anything that can play on your iPad including apps like pandora, Last.Fm etc. Apple has updated the latest OS 4.1 to include playing the next song or the last song played.
