If I leave the house, it goes along. I use it for email and to look up suppliers etc. I have a Clear Spot that I move from one vehicle to the other. That way I have my wifi hotspot where ever I am.

Air share works with Windows, as long as you install Bonjour. It's free from Apple.

WiFi is good for me. I use Clear 4G at home and the Clear Spot as I travel.

I returned my MiFi and turned off my AT&T card both today. I went with the Clear 2 on the go set up. I got the modem for home use and the USB/clearspot for on the road. The 2 setups will run $82.00 per month. I have no other Internet options at my Texas home. So far the modem is very fast.

Good batt life here too. Played with mine for about 8 hrs. wifi on the whole time. Only dropped to 78%. No heat buildup at all.

tpad here. Got my reserved iPad yesterday. Got to the mall at 0:600 and found only 8 people in line. Only 4 of us had reservations. I was in the store and out in 7 minutes. So far I really like the new toy. I really think I can replace my netbook with the pad for travel use.
