Not all is good my new black 64GB mini wRD screen has bad yellowing on the bottom it's in the process of being exchanged. It goes from white on top to yellow and it's extremely ugly looking ew.

Thanks everyone I could tell I wasn't going to be happy with my $499 purchase unless I spent the extra $100. It might be highway robbery for apple to charge so much for the capacity increases but I'm so happy with this iPad I can't complain too much.

Or you could just buy one now and once they get the screens perfected take it in and swap it for a better one at an Apple store of course. I think I got lucky with this one. The first one I bought had a really bad blue tint coming from the top by the camera. It seemed like blue backlight bleeding or something. Took it to Apple store and they said it wasn't normal obviously so they switched it out. It was bugging me so bad after only a day. Definitely get it swapped...

Yeah the crisp text is the biggest noticeable difference in the retina screen. Its so awesome having so many pixels packed into this screen. It makes the device just feel complete and more Apple like than iPad mini 1.

Yeah good point, I wasn't complaining about the money lost. The colors are fine in my eyes. On the cooler side for sure.
