You can sync your pad to your computer then plug the USB into the same computer and transfer files via iTunes.

When I sync my IPad to ITunes and go the the "Apps" tab the graph at the bottom shows Audio, Video, Apps, etc. and .85 GB of "other" Does anyone know what the "other" is? I'm assuming it has something to do with the OS, but that's just a guess.

When I connect my camera to my Camera Kit, it will download pics into the pad, but then my camera won't read the card until I reformat it in a computer. Anyone else had that kind of trouble?

HMMMM I went back to the video section and was told my movie had expired. When I re-synced with Itunes the 1.55 GB of video disappeared before my eyes.

I rented a movie, watched it and it disappeared from my list BUT there's still 1.55GB of video data on my IPad, How do I recover that memory?

Make that "me three" I got a refurbed IPad1 16GB and am totally satisfied. My co worker has a 64GB version and has over 50GB of empty space, I've got 10 and that's with my total IPod music and a rented movie installed.

I too have an IPad1 16BG and am looking at the IOS5 update. Does anyone know if the new OS takes up LOTS more of our memory? I've got 10GB free (I'm not a "power user" I guess) but I don't what to use up too much with the new OS. Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion. I downloaded the manual to the iPad and have been learning LOTS.

I got this refurbed Ipad1 off of EBay a few days ago & I'm trying to learn what it will do & how to do it. I'll be checking inn here frequently.
