Mostly I like it save for one really bad feature, (glitch?) when deleting your search history. Instead of just clearing the days history it's wiping all cookies and data without even having an option for just deleting your search history. I'm having to sign back in numerous times and constantly...

:mad:WARNING: If you have upgraded to iOS 8.1 DO NOT DO A HARD REBOOT! My pad was locked for a couple of hours with the white Apple logo on my screen and I couldn't get out. As I have no laptop I would have been forced to rent one or find a geek at BB to connect me to iTunes for a full restore...

☞Mine's a iPad 2/32k 3G/Verizon running only on wifi now if that helps. I was using a long password before reset but right now I'm not risking it till this works itself out. No one has access to my pad but me and it never leaves the house so... Hope this isn't as big a glitch as wallpapers & VPN...

☞Just turned off password lock, did a hard reboot and all icons came back...this is a glitch related to 4# passcode lock I'm thinking? Thanks so much for your help; think you experts need to stay on top of this one...

☞98% of mine are live, current, and active and in all my folders. Really don't want to do a full reset,(all settings) again especially if it only works once then fails soon as I shut down & reopen pad.

☞I'm thinking,(IMO) that this is a glitch in iOS8? If I reset again and they all come back it would mean that I can't do a soft reset, a reboot or even shut the pad down for the night if this keeps happening... Anyone else have this ptoblem after iOS8?

Just tried 10 of them and the crosshair icon stays but all go to site through Safari...

☞Tried that but they don't come back... On Chrome now but it crashed when I tried to upload screenshot. Really don't want to do a full reset again. Only thing different I've done since upgrade was to switch to 4# passcode vs my regular longer one. This is seriously daunting seeing so many icons...

They're exactly like that but all came back yesterday after reset and I thought problem was fixed. Can't upload screenshot to show you but that's them and they're all over including in my folders for sites with no standard icons just sites I added for reference.

Trying to upload screen shot: Can't get screenshot to upload... App icons being replaced with a gray & white crosshair pattern. Have done a full reset. How can I upload screen shot?
