Thanks for the advice guys, fortunately my mate has lent me the rest of the money so i can get the ipad2, so i am a happy soul again.

What i meant was before the ipad2 came out, the ipad1 was selling for £299, in some stores in England, I just managed to get the money together, when i was told they had been taken off the shelves to make way for the ipad2:mad:now somehow i am after try and get another £100 to buy the ipad2...

Why have they taken the ipad1 off the shelves, I think it is disgusting how apple is treating its customers, not everyone can afford the ipad2,:(

When the ipad2 comes out, will they still be selling the ipad 1, or will they be taken off the shelves everywhere.:confused:

Is it true that you can only put photos on the ipad, if you purchase the camera kit, if it is , i think it is disgusting, thats not mentioned in any of the reviews. The price of the ipad, you should have that included in the price.:(

There have many different covers on Amazon site, much better protection than the smart covers. I will definately be purchasing a cover from there, the ipad cost to much money to be unprotected.;)

You can tell straight away its the ipad2 by how thin it is compared that of ipad1, plus if you have a white one, there is no white ipad1, so yes you would able to tell straight away.

Thank you for the comments, the reason why i asked was that some people said that it was a lot faster, were as some people said it was no faster than the ipad 1.

I reall y dont think that apple have really thought this through, i just carnt understand why they coulnt of made the smart cover fit all the way round, not only protecting the front, but the back has well, come on apple get a grip.

Can anyone tell me if the speed is a lot faster on the ipad2 compared to the ipad1. And also is there loads more stuff on it.:)

:( I have just seen on another site that the smart covers arnt up to much, is it right that the magnets arnt very good, also they come off very easily, and that also cause there no cover on the back they can easily gets scratched. has anybody else had similar problems with there covers, and do...
