I don't think so. Better read all opinions in this thread, then go to the iStore, compare, close your eyes and think which one you missed the most if you lost it and imagine which one suit you the most when you bring it along. Then, choose it wisely.

AFAIK, bricked gadgets e.g. Phones, iPad, computers, PSPs, etc. are gadgets malfunctioned as a result of software-related issues by certain events, like updating the firmware, for instance. So the remedy must also be software-related as well.
