    I know it cuts down on the whole concept of portability some, but you may consider adding a bluetooth external keyboard. I have an Apple MC184LL/B and i love it. Its small (but not too small), lightweight, pairs up quickly and easily and IMO its quite possibly the nicest keyboard of any kind...
